Update January 2023: The continued violence shown by police forces across the nation has been so unbelievably devastating. This specific poem was written for Tamir Rice but it’s for every single life lost due to senseless gun violence at the hands of police.
This was a poem I wrote for an assignment, in my English 115 course, during my first year of college.
